I was wondering if there would be a way to upload cvs just like you
can download it. That way I could put my whole database of customers
up on a map to show other shoppers where our customers are.

More Countries Forthcoming?

Thanks for putting together this great app. I'm a web developer who
decided to use this instead of writing my own geocoding script for the
sake of convenience but found just one thing lacking: many of the
countries I needed aren't listed. This is solved easily enough by
going to another geocoding service and getting the lat/long.

Map Settings - Zoom Level Problem

I seem to have a problem in which the default zoom level for my map
doesn't change regardless of whether I choose "Automatic" or "Manual"
on the Map Settings tab. It just seems to stay set to automatic and
doesn't respond to any of the Manual values I choose. I am making sure
that I save the changes and republish the map, but nothing changes the

Hi Ginny,

this feature doesn't exist, unfortunately. I'm not actively working on
YourGMap anymore, just maintaining it, so I won't add this feature
anytime soon.

Hi all,
I love the G Map stuff and have several out there for various
purposes. One more recent one is a car pool map for the members of my
daughter's high school theatre group. Often there are rehearsals on
school holidays when parents have to work and the cast members need to
find rides to a from rehearsal.

My plan is to keep the site running, but I just don't have the time to
add new features / make improvements. However, when the site goes down
for any reason, I usually fix it within 24 hours.

What's up. I've recently discovered yourgmap and think it's very cool.
I have a lot of maps to create, but I'm just a little concerned about
the longevity of the site. There doesn't seem to be much info out
there. Is there something else that has taken over?

Well, I found the way. I had been looking in the map settings when I
should have looked in the publish settings.
So, this site really has everything for not-as-savy webmasters as me!

How to see just the map

I'm a new member here. I found YourGMap somewhat by accident and I
love it.
I've created a map to put on my website, and used the IFrame command
(as I've seen suggested on another message on this forum) with the url
provided when the map was created. BUt this way I see the whole page.
How can I show just the map (without the rest of the page, the header

Feature Request: Driving Directions with waypoints

I so wish that google would let me create my own custom way pointed
driving directions (which they do currently) but allow me to put
details on the waypoints! this would be great for routing a road trip
or tour. Will YourGMap allow this anytime soon?
