Subject: Is it possible to password protect your map?
Hi all,
I love the G Map stuff and have several out there for various
purposes.  One more recent one is a car pool map for the members of my
daughter's high school theatre group.  Often there are rehearsals on
school holidays when parents have to work and the cast members need to
find rides to a from rehearsal.
My problem is this, the names and addresses of young teens are
out there on the internet for all to Google!  I've received a couple
of complaints from parents and then they want to remove their kids
from the map, which kind of defeats the purpose.
Is there some way to add a password that I can give out to the
cast members so only they can see the map?  If not, does anyone know
of a way I can set up a similar or work around scenario?
Thanks so much - Ginny

Hi Ginny,

this feature doesn't exist, unfortunately. I'm not actively working on
YourGMap anymore, just maintaining it, so I won't add this feature
anytime soon.

Sorry and thanks for your email!
