I signed us up on the Lenten Small Groups board so we can get the materials that the church (Maryann Cushing) is providing to help us facilitate our Lenten group.
Bart approached me about a book by a Paulist, Mike Hayes (note no "n"), who edits the Busted Halo web site. Its called "Googling God" and Bart thinks we might be able to use this as a book to discuss. I suggested after Lent we can read it and discuss. If we are interested Bart can get us copies at a discount and we also think that we can use some funds that we have (Trinity's suggestion). So look this page over and we can discuss. So, do we have a target date for starting up the meetings? I'm not wild about the book idea but am open to what everyone else wants to do. I think the materials provided by the church would suffice. I think the book could be a good idea for meetings and discussion after the lenten season is over. We will already have topics for discussion during lent. Who is going to OSM for ash wednesday? Perhaps we could get together afterwards?

Yea, that's what I figured, we use the book as a discussion for after Lent is over. During Lent I'm getting Maryann to get us the materials the church is providing to the other Lenten groups.
