web based address book

Hello ,
Does any body know of a web based address book application?Basically
what I am looking for is that I can create a login and send out a link
to all of my friends and they can click the url and enter their details
at their convinience. All web based addressbooks seem to require the
owner to manually add details.What I want is to allow my contacts to
update details on the website

Gmail's contacts let you import csv files.  So export your contacts to csv and import them into Gmail.  Also try Plaxo.
