The Making of a Madam continues to receive strong reviews. Check them
out on the Amazon site. But, more importantly, the book is touching
lives. Two former prostitutes contacted Patsy to tell her how much her
book meant to them. They both expressed gratitude for the healing that
has occurred as a result of Patsy’s story.

We are scheduling speaking engagements for Patsy and me. So far we
have tentative dates for five events.

2009
May 9: Third Annual Ohioana Book Festival in Columbus, Ohio (Patsy
only)

August 14-16: Patsy and I will be in Big Stone Gap, Virginia—book
signing and more.

September 25: We will be in Nelsonville, Ohio for a book signing at
The Nelsonville Quilt Company (tentative date). A trip to Gallipolis
on the 26-27 is also in the works.

November 11: (Veteran’s Day) Patsy will be speaking at the Fitton
Center for Creative Arts in Hamilton Ohio at their “Celebrating Self”
luncheon.

2010
August 7, 2010: Wayne will be teaching and keynoting for the Texas
Christian Writers’ Conference at the First Baptist Church in Houston,
Texas.
