John, Would you please make sure and send Don:
1) pdf. of the Authorization form (or link to the wiki, I guess)
2) list of CRATEL equipment
You may also ask if he'd like to join our google group.
I just thought we could send him all of this at once.
Talked to Dan Davis, who books the Electric Snake... he's way excited
and will be at the show on Saturday. He's cool with us recording his
group that night and thinks that the rest of the bands will be down,
too. I don't know what all bands are playing, though. Don thought the
show would open at 7 and start closer to 8. I have Dan's contact info
if anyone wants to reach him. The Electric Snake is just North of
Harry and Washington. It's on the backside of a bar and you have to
park in a dirt lot behind it. The place looks like a garage, and I
don't think there are any big signs or anything televising the place.
Aren't the names "Don Landis" and "Dan Davis" way too similar to
include mulitple times in the same email?
Don't forget to check on Internet possibilities next time you are at the
Electric Snake. :-)

Definitely agreed. However, we are fairly easy to tell apart when
placed side by side. Dan Davis is the one who can play an instrument.
Plus, he has most of his hair still. Lucky guy!
Saturday night should be very interesting, as we are planning to use 2
recording setups and then compare results.

I am checking on this recorder. Do you know anything about it? I went to the site, and it looks great. I called Samson and got a dealer in Wichita. The list price is $500, but he will sell it for $300. Russ

Sorry I have been out of the loop - been down with the flu - but I am back in action now. . . though going out of town today and will miss all of the excitement this weekend.
anyway, ran across this cool new recorder and thought it may just be an option for recording shows (and more - very functional). Check it out!
