Good Morning! Today is Day 4.

On Tuesday, May 6th, the 8th Graders will be taking the NYS Science
Assessment. Students need to bring in #2 pencils with erasers. Please
encourage your child to get a good night's rest and eat a nourishing
breakfast as part of their preparation for this assessment.

Since the Assessment is only for 8th graders, our 7th grade students
will be picked up at their usual bus stops on a 2hr delay schedule.

Budget and Board Candidate Meetings

Please be aware that there are two meetings this week that you may
want to attend:

- On Monday, May 5, the PTA will sponsor a "Meet the Candidates Night"
at 7:30 PM at Ketcham High School for the eight candidates seeking one
of the four open seats on the Board of Education.

- On Tuesday, May 6, the Board will hold a state-mandated budget
hearing starting at 8:15 PM in the Wappingers JHS auditorium. The
hearing will be followed by a regular Board meeting.

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Chorus, 8th Grade Chorus
and Show Choir on their outstanding performance last night.
Next Thursday will be our Instrumental performance beginning
at 7:30pm.

Congratulations to our Girls Soccer team on their 1 to 1 tie
in double overtime. You played an awesome game!

Track team members who ordered a hoodie or t-shirt
need to see Mrs. Calabrese in room 250.

Sports Physicals for "Fall" Sports are now being scheduled.
If you need a physical for next year please stop by the
Health Office to schedule an appointment and obtain the
necessary forms.
