Good Afternoon! Today is Day 1.

Pre-ordered Yearbooks were distributed during homeroom today.
Students were advised to write their name on the inside cover of
the book. Any students who did not pre-order a book may come
to room 102 on Friday morning after 7:30am with $20 Cash (NO
checks). Books are sold on a first come, first served basis.
Books will not be put aside for anyone!

During homeroom yesterday students were given a paper with
information
such as address, phone number and emergency contact. Parents and
Guardians are asked to follow the directions on the page and return
by
Monday, June 16th.

This week there will be Locker Clean Out today and Friday, June
12th and 13th. Students with lockers on the 1st floor will clean
their lockers on Thursday, 2nd floor on Friday. Students are advised
to bring home a little each day to make it easier.

The Moving Up Ceremonies will be held today, June 12th.
Students who handed in their ticket request forms received their
tickets already. Please place these tickets in a safe place as
they will not be reissued. Also if you did not
hand in your ticket request form, you will be able to view the
ceremony via video conferencing in the gym.­­­

Friday, June 13th is the last day that forms for the 8th grade class
trip to Great Adventure will be available. The trip costs $75 which
includes transportation, all you can eat lunch and park admission.
Payment must be made by either cash or Money Order to WJHS.
Sign up for buses will be at 6:15am the morning of the trip.
Parents need to pick up their child at 7:30pm.

The Athletic Award Ceremony scheduled for last night has been
rescheduled for Monday, June 16th. If you have not handed in your
permission slip with a donation you have an additional opportunity to
do so.

The Softball team will have their pizza party before the Athletic
Award ceremony at 5:45pm. Please remember to bring your clean
uniform to the party.

7th Graders who signed up for the Mentoring Program and who handed in
their permission slips will have a meeting next Tuesday and Wednesday
June 17th and 18th.
