Subject: VWJHS Summer News 6/29
1.  The summer date for Fall sports physicals for Van Wyck students
(7th & 8th grade) will be on Tuesday, August 25th from 7:30 am to
11:30 am.  Fall sports are football, volleyball, boy's soccer, field
hockey and cheerleading.

2.  The john Jay Girls Basketball Camp, July 20-23, will now be held
at VAN WYCK JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.  Camp will run daily from 9 to 1. Once
again Camp will be at Van Wyck, NOT JOHN JAY! For more information

3.  The clothing items that have been put in the "lost and found" this
year are in the main office lobby.  Students are asked to go through
the clothing if they have lost anything this year.  Parents are
encouraged to come in and go through the clothing as well.  There are
lunch boxes and other items as well.  Valuables and eye glasses are in
the main office.

4.  Continuing Ed is offering summer camps for students in grades 1-9.
Camps include dance, yoga, theater, Spanish, art, science, golf, Tae
Kwan Do, & band. Flyers are available in the school lobby or go to the
WCSD website and click on Continuing Ed. Or call  298-5000, ext. 137
