Subject: VWJHS Tuesday News 6/23 day 1,3,5
1.  The john Jay Girls Basketball Camp, July 20-23, will now be held
at VAN WYCK JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.  Camp will run daily from 9 to 1.
Once again Camp will be at Van Wyck, NOT JOHN JAY!

2.  All 8th graders ttending the Great Adventure trip on June 25th,
please report to the gym lobby between 6:15 am and 6:30 am.  We will
leave Van Wyck at 7 am sharp.  Make sure your parents are here by 9 pm
to pick you up in the evening.

3. June 24 - 10:30 dismissal all students attend - snacks will be
available for purchase
June 25 - 8th grade trip to Great Adventure
June 25 - 6th and 7th graders and those 8th graders not going to Great
Adventure attend school - dismissal at 10:30 am.  LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
FOR STUDENTS

4.  At noon on Wed., June 24th, the clothing items that have been put
in the "lost and found" this year will be put in the main office
lobby.  Students are asked to go through the clothing if they have
lost anything this year.  Parents are encouraged to come in and go
through the clothing as well.  There are lunch boxes and other items
as well.  Valuables and eye glasses are in the main office.

5.  EX.I.T.E. at East Fishkill (Exploring Interests in Technology and
Engineering) Girls Technology Camp is a no-cost, week-long day camp
which develops girls' interests in science and technology.
Participants will work in teams of 4-5 under the guidance of engineers
who will act as coaches and mentors.  There are a limited number of
openings for the camp which will be selected on a first-come, first-
served basis.  Participants should arrive at 8:30 am daily and will
depart at 4 pm.  Parents are responsible for transportation to and
from IBM.  Some schools may provide transportation.
