Bellow is a repost with new subject title.
am not sure if it slipped down ..

This collaborative initiative may open a new way for oneness toward good ends for all straight forward.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks

2008/6/23 Don Child <d...@healthisyourdestiny.com>:

,Hello, everyone. This is my first post, and is in response to
something Sandy wrote in another thread asking where we could find an
executable infrastructure architecture. I also want to introduce a
group I've been working with that has the working title, "Global Brain
Application" (GBA), started by Wael Al Saad, who also recently joined
this group.

We have been working with a small group from around the globe to try
to develop a computer application that could serve as an adjunct to
the collective consciousness of humanity, and help people solve local
as well as global problems by using the resources of the Global Brain
(a coin termed by Peter Russell, as far as I know).

We are toying with ideas for an infrastructure using the backbone of
the Internet and small "seed" applications or applets that can be
widely distributed over a P2P network. The thought is that the GBA can
be used to share solutions that may be local initially, then can
percolate upward to create more universal solutions to seemingly
intractable problems such as global peace, food production and
distribution, justice, etc. Keywords that may help you understand the
scope of our discussion include "information commons," "spiral
integral synergy," "integral global governance," and "co-creative
consciousness."

We are looking for new team members to help further our discussion. So
far, we have a short white paper draft that describes what we
envisioned during a 2-week on-line conversation through
GlobalMindShift.com, and we have started to develop a generic outline
(and a "genetic" outline) of what a "seed" application would contain,
how it would be constructed, etc. We are still in the early stages,
but we do have ambition.

We work in two different environments at the moment ... we have a Ning
forum that we use to discuss some of the more philosophical issues
related to GBA, and we have a Google wiki that we are using to develop
ideas for a technical solution. We would like to open the discussion
to anyone who shares our passion and feels that they can contribute
anything that may advance the development of GBA. If you are
interested, please drop an e-mail to myself
(d...@healthisyourdestiny.com) or Wael Al Saad
(palest...@googlemail.com) with "GBA Invitation" in the subject,
and we will send you an invite so you can join our efforts.

And I look forward to getting to know the "Value Networks" forum
better in the future. I'm always glad to find others who are working
towards the same positive ends.

Thanks,
Don Child
