If you are on Linkedin.com it would be a good idea for you to join the
VUC linkedin group:

This will make things so much easier when you hear about someone you'd
like to contact on one of our sessions. It's really the only serious
network and it doesn't require much maintenance, just fill in your
profile and keep it up to date. It will help find jobs or fill them.
I'm not that huge on "being connected" and friends with a zillion
people, but Linkedin does make things a lot easier when you hear a
name and want to contact the person.

Like the Google group (this list) the membership is moderated so there
shouldn't be things like ads, other than my own spamming about the
Conference itself :)
