configure DNS in RHEL-5

        I wants to configure the DNS here so pls help how to configure it.

hi,

You have not mantioned here that you want to configure Server or Client.

For client you need to add below entries in /etc/resolv.conf

search abcd.com
nameserver 1.1.1.1

For Server configuration, go through the link

Hi,

For rhel5 specific DNS BIND config I am sending you the script.

I had prepared the script you only need to give ip address and domain name.

other wise everything is ready.

Then according to you create as many as CNAME records.

But script is working in safe more will not change live config. It
will create separate file.

Please check and make changes according to you.

As soon as the final script ready will be posted.
