Residents may sign up for emergency response course
------------------------------------------------------------------------
UI is involved in ongoing research on Community Emergency Response
Teams. The CERT program trains residents as auxilliaries to local
emergency services. C-U residents may participate in CERT programs
8/25-9/4 or 10/27-11/5. Cost is $20; participants must attend all

Young dog needed for hip dysplasia study

is looking for young dogs (6 to 14 months) with hip dysplasia to
participate in a NON-INVASIVE clinical trial. For more information,

Dogs with osteoarthritis needed for study
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Researchers are looking for dogs with osteoarthritis for a
non-invasive study to test the efficacy of S-adenosyl Methionine
(SAMe) in the treatment of osteoarthritis at the College of
Veterinary Medicine. Compensation: $60 and a free orthopedic exam.
