Hey Guys,
This is a show called "Vietnamese America: 33 Years Diaspora and Reflection"
for the commemoration of Black April. Is any one interested in volunteering
(group or individuals) besides ICC members (since you guys got a super
meeting that day) for the show? Please release this to any one you maybe
think interested in volunteering or attending. Please get back to me if you
are! :) We need a lot of volunteers, the more the merrier. Food and drinks
will be provided.
I hope some of your members or any one you know can make it out.

Dear friends:
We respectfully invite you to attend *our special Cultural Show 2:00pm on
April 27, 2008 at the Campbell Heritage Theatre in celebrating “Vietnamese
America: 33 Years Diaspora and Reflection.†* The goal of this show is to
highlight Vietnamese American participation and contributions to their
adopted country while reflecting on their roles and responsibilities toward
improving the quality of life, freedom, human rights, and democracy for
those in their motherland.
While Vietnamese Americans are grateful to America and her people for a
second chance to rebuild their lives from shattered dreams, they long for
opportunities to improve the quality of lives for people in their
motherland. This special event is organized by the Tran Quoc Toan Movement,
a newly formed grassroots organization joining resources from younger and
older generations for community building.
Today, Vietnamese Americans actively participate in all walks of life in
America that include civic duties, entrepreneurship, professional endeavors,
education, social services, and health at various levels in the American
society. They have overcome incredible challenges from displacement to
survivals and economic contributions in America through sheer hard work and
perseverance. Their struggles and triumphs are a testimony to the image of
America as a land of hope and opportunity.
We would be honored to have your presence and show of support in whatever
way you can. Your financial contributions in any amount would be much
appreciated. As we count our blessings, we are reminded that we have a
collective responsibility to make our world a better place for those who are
less fortunate. Your are cordially invited to our event. Your response is
greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Phong Trao TRAN QUOC TOAN
