The University Photographers Association is an international association for university and college photographers. The group primarily discusses items of interest to photographers working in a college or university environment.  The topics are sometimes technical, sometimes work related and can be personal as well since many members use the UPAA group as a continuation of personal contacts made at the yearly UPAA symposium.
