Hello All,

It has touched me to have a clothing/food drive for the homeless after visiting Progress Place in Silver Spring.  I realize how much clothing I have accumulated and rarely wear, so why not assist those in need!  Please join me in this endeavour, particularly since the cold months are here.  Feel free to donate what you have and I am including Progress Place's wish list as well. 

Location:  My office - Tydings 2115B
Hours:  Mon, Tues, Friday 10am - 4pm; Wed 10am-1pm

Food Items:

• Margarine or Butter
• Pepper
• Salad Dressing
• Hot Sauce (an item our guests love!)
• Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
• Canned Vegetables (large, #10 cans)
• Soup (cream-based or broth)
• Spices (large containers)
• Coffee
• Creamer
• Sweet-N-Low or Other Sugar Substitutes

Kitchen Items:

• Aluminum Foil (large industrial roll)

Clothing Closet Items:
We always accept donations of new and gently-used clothing and shoes. Please donate seasonal items and those items that will enhance the dignity of our clients.
