Synth Automation in MetaSynth?

Hello. I'm wondering if it's possible to adjust the parameters (i.e.
attack, vibrato, and even wave shape) of the synths (Wavesynth,
Mutliwaves, Grainsynth & Sampler) in real-time. I know 'Preview to
Disk' allows this, but it's real hard to change MULTIPLE parameters at
the SAME time manually (via the mouse). Is there some way to
automatically do this? It seems possible using the keyboard, but i'm
NOT sure how that's done. For instance, with MIDI, i'd insert messages
to alter synth parameter(s) at any place in the music. Does MetaSynth
have a similar function?

Hello - No there isn't a way to do this. I like to move multiple
parameters at the same time also and have asked for a feature to be
able to assign MIDI CCs to specific parameters...

This way we would be able to preview to disk and move things around
with a MIDI controller...

I shouldn't have brought up MIDI, i was just using it as an example.
There's NO reason for MetaSynth to have MIDI, that's what makes it so
special.
A much better solution would be to select/highlight the parameters
desired, and simply use the arrow keys and/or PageUp/PageDown keys to
adjust them. Already, the Tab key can toggle thru the parameters.

That is an interesting idea and something that we have periodically spoken about. I can't speak to future plans.
