LAST CHALLENGE VIDEO

Our hosts gave us our tenth episode of the Ultimate Blogger today.

First thing in the morning, immunity was announced. The judges seemed
to agree with us that, though James and Mimi's posts were strong,
Lyova's rose handily to the top with its fine graphic design,
interactive features, and downright shocking revelations of scheming
and strategy.

Lyova, clad in the impressive Strategics Supremacy Fiery Flames and
Face of Stalin (of Immunity), was the only eligible voter this time, so
effectively he got to choose who would join him in the final
head-to-head.

There was a moment of suspense where we all wondered if Lyova would
betray James, but in the end the ultra-secret meta-alliance held
strong, and Lyova picked James. Somehow we thought James was pretty
secure he'd enter the final two...whatever he and Lyova have planned
for this last round will most likely be very dramatic.

A FOND FAREWELL TO OUR VERY FAVORITE NEW YORKER

Lyova's choice also meant that Mimi, one of the most amazing online
writers we've discovered in a long time, finally got sent to the
shredder. We will definitely continue to read her blog and we hope to
meet her in person one day. You can keep up with her adventures and
leave her some comment love at http://miminewyork.blogspot.com/.

A JURY OF THEIR PEERS

The challenge is a little different this time; it is more of an
exhibition than a competition in and of itself. There will be no
immunity awarded, but these posts will be the last official posts by
James and Lyova before the title of The Ultimate Blogger is finally
decided. What are the contestants supposed to write about this time?
They have been asked to confess a deep secret. Something personal.
Something hard to talk about. Something true that they've maybe never
admitted before.(It's almost as if our hosts are trying to squeeze out
every last secret from these masterminds before they give that iPod
away.)

Our hosts also announced another surprise in the video: James and Lyova
will be judged by the very folks they've voted off the cyber-island!
That's right, in true Survivor style, the eliminated bloggers have been
invited to return to assist the judges in selecting the Ultimate
Blogger from our final two contestants.

Good luck to both of you, James and Lyova. It's been a pleasure
following your careers, and it'll be a pretty emotional moment when we
read the very last challenge entries of the game. We can hardly wait.

WE'RE GETTING VERKLEMPT

As we get near the last UHUBUGGG post, we're already thinking about how
much we'll miss this game, and wanted to take a fond look back at where
we've come from.

We started this group because, at the beginning especially, it was hard
to keep track of everything that was going on, and it was almost
impossible to read all the posts and all the comments, etc. We really
wanted somebody to write up a daily report on UB happenings. So instead
of waiting for somebody else to do it, we took it upon ourselves to
make it happen.

Sure, it's meant a lot of late nights, but it's also been a lot of fun.
We hope that in our modest way, we've managed to make the game yet more
awesome and fun for you.

Here's a tip of the hat to our hosts and bloggers, who managed to make
a game so exciting it deserved, even demanded, its own users group.

That's all for tonight.

Love,
Your BUGGG
