Thursday we pre-rode the RR course. Lots of steep 1 km climbs,
wonderful rodes, and beutiful terrain. The climbing is gonna be
brutal. The weather is somewhat unpredictable, it hailed on us for a
bit on our ride, and was sunny the rest of the time. The altitude is
tough, but everyone seems to be feeling a lot stonger then we did at
reno, myself included.
Today was the TTT. It was a massive tailwind on the way out with
about 300 foot of gain to the turnaround, and big headwind on the way
back. The girls rode smooth to a 9th place finish. The guys had a
pretty tough time of it, with the tailwind making recovery tough with
not much draft. We finished up 17th. These results are good enough
to have us in 12th place overall in omnium.
Tomorrow morning we are hitting the RR. Should be tough. Hopefully
we can get up into the top ten.
Ill keep you updated.

Hard road race today. The main climb of the day started .5 miles into
the race, and with 170 people in the field, those who didn't get to
line up near the front (Becca, Danny) were f'd from the get go. For
the guys race, a break rolled off the front midway through the race,
and with every major team represented it trucked away. Patrick had
missed the lead group over the last climb but eventually caught back
on with a group of 20. He helped move me to the front of the pack
before the hills leading to the finish. I stayed with the leaders over
the last climb and down towards the finish at the stadium. two guys
sprinted early, and left us looking at each other, and i finished
third in the field for a ninth overall. Looking forward to tomorrow!
