Thanks for the helpful hints Vic. One habit I have is when I get too
close I will stop peddling so as not to get too close. I'll be sure
not to do that any longer. These are all great tips!

Saturday ride

Some of us are planning a short ride Saturday morning - leaving St. Luke's at 6:30 am and doing the Tuesday loop - longer version - for about 25 miles.
Bring your running shoes and we may get in a few miles afterwards - or maybe a swim at the Wellness - or maybe some muffins at Atlanta Bread Company.

Too funny! I think the bike was doing better without the rider. My

Good tips Vic. I also think it is important not to follow too close in
a group ride. I have heard it said that one should give about a
wheel's length of space between your front wheel and the rider's wheel
in front of you. This allows you to catch some draft, but also allows
lateral movement by the rider ahead, without collision. I learned this

Thanks - I removed the message from the board and will boot this
"member." At present the group is set so anyone can join and we have
had a couple of spam incidents. This is the first porn spam I think.
Wonder if it had anything to do with a certain someone getting a
shave?
