Here's a good opportunity next week to break out those Raspberry Pi's and make something fun and useful:
The theme is "Interacting with the Real World".
A couple of ideas about what that might mean:
Use a Raspberry Pi + Gertboard to wave a flag, ring a bell, turn on some fans and otherwise do a whole lot of nothing. Oh, and control it all with a wiimote:
The event isn't hardware specific...the theme is broadly interpretable and your project could be entirely software-based (python!)
