TransitionsDaily.org is an open A.A. Online Meeting (Service # 000720350) of men and women who have found the solution to their alcoholism in the program of Alcoholics Anonymous. We adhere to the traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.  This online meeting is a combination of email and discussion.  Through the Private Announcement Only Google Group TransitionsDaily, we distribute one daily topic email to members with the topic of the day.  In our Secret Facebook Group TransitionsDaily, we encourage discussion of today’s post plus anything relating to alcoholism.  Our Facebook group is not searchable nor are members viewable by non-members.

Our primary purpose is to carry the message of experience, strength, and hope to alcoholics who still suffer.  We are truly encouraged by the friendships we have developed in our recovery. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. We believe the “Spiritual Awakening” as described in Step 12 is a result of working the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

You have 3 options to Participate in the TransitionsDaily Open Email & Discussion Group:

1.  To join the Private Announcement Only Google Group TransitionsDaily, send an email to TransitionsDaily@gmail.comwith “Join” in the subject line.  You will be manually added to the closed Google Group TransitionsDaily. 

The members of this group cannot be seen by other members or by non-members.  You are completely anonymous with no sale or disclosure of membership to other members or the redistribution of emails of any kind.  Once you have been added, you will receive a confirmation email.  Please allow 24 – 48 hours for entry. You will then receive one topic email daily.

2.   To Join the Transitions Daily Secret Facebook Group, send an email to TransitionsDaily@gmail.com with “Join Facebook Group” in the subject line. Make sure and either send from the email associated with your Facebook account or specify your Facebook email in the message.  You will receive an invitation via email to join the secret Facebook group where all discussion takes place.  Every day the topic email is also posted in the Secret Facebook group.

If your anonymity in regards to other members of the Facebook group is an issue, it is suggested that you create a Facebook personal profile with no personal information, using only your first name and last name initial.  Only members of the group are able to see your information.  Non-members cannot see your posts or that you are a member.  Make sure your notifications are turned so you will be reminded of the new posts.

3. Subscribe to the Transitions Daily Podcast: We cannot sign you up for a podcast. Depending on your phone, you will need to pick a podcast provider. There are many free options. You will have to investigate yourself or ask a friend that listens to podcasts to explain the process.

For iPhone
For the iPhone, most use iTunes. You should have a podcast icon on your phone. It is recommended searching "how to sign up for podcasts on an iPhone" in your favorite search engine or in iTunes for more information. 

For Android
Android is not that simple. There are several different podcast apps. We know several who use the free version of the Stitcher app. It is recommended searching "how to sign up for podcasts on android" in your favorite search engine.

Regardless of what service you use, search for "Transitions Daily" and subscribe. We also list a number of recovery podcasts at the bottom of www.DailyAAEmails.com.
