The book came today ( ordered it from Tim's store) as well as Tim's cd. Honestly, some of the better money I've spent! The book is delightful and highly informative. I prefer the banjo and bones tracks. That's not unsual for me, though, since I'm not much for singing. I can't help but recommend Tim's cd, too. IMHO, his renditions offer up an idea of what this music might have sounded like in the hands of a professional minstrel back in the day. I've never been one for "play as written," and Tim's interpretations should be a beacon for us all: to play with our own individual style and verve!.......Brian in NC

Hey, thank you Brian. I'm glad everything arrived safely, and I
appreciate your kind words. I'm always fascinated to hear other
interpretations of this music. We are left only with dots on a page
until we breath our own life into it, right?
