Asalamo Alykum,
Salman Taseer says that the Pakistani nation should stop focusing upon American drone-attacks and concentrate upon the aid that America has promised. He says that this aid would be very beneficial for turning Pakistan into a modern agricultural country and hence Pakistan would become a model state among the Muslim countries.
I cannot think of any religion nor any contemporaries that present such a morality. Nor can I understand the twisted logic behind it. Why should Salman Taseer be interested in envisioning Pakistan as a model state amongst the Muslim world while holding the ideology that we should be willing to sell our people to death in lieu of a few thousand dollars?
