Hey there,

I've just done a blog post outlining the steps that Osmosoft is
intending to take with RippleRap, and asking for the community to let
us know what they'd like. This can be seen here:

http://philwhitehouse.blogspot.com/2008/01/ripplerap-next-steps.html

I'm keen not to bombard people with information about RippleRap unless
they're interested, which is why one of the questions asked is whether
we should create a new group specifically for RippleRap. Please
respond via a comment on the blog post, and I'll endeavour to keep
people updated on our progress (unless voted otherwise!) from time to
time in the groups.

Cheers,
Phil

Thanks for your feedback on the blog, I've added a response there if
you're interested in tracking developments.

All the best,
Phil

Further to your feedback, we've now made considerable changes to
RippleRap.com and the supporting infrastructure. We've now created an
environment where conference organisers can be walked through the
setting up of a RippleRap infrastructure, and developers can tear the
TiddlyWiki file apart to see how it works (and use the bits they
want). You can see all of this at http://www.ripplerap.com.

We (Osmosoft) are out of the office for a few days, but when we get
back we'll turn our attention to improvement of the product. Watch
this space!

Thanks for all your input so far,

Cheers,
Phil

Not sure if it's what I should be seeing, but it seemed odd so I
figured I mention it.

At http://www.ripplerap.com in IE6 running 1024*768, all tiddlers are
opening below the Main Menu, even though it looks like there should be
enough space for them to open to the right of the MainMenu. Might just
need a couple of ems of extra space in the display area.

Thanks Ken, we'll look into that.

All the best,
Phil

Quick update to let you know that the discussion around the further
development of RippleRap is taking place here:

http://philwhitehouse.blogspot.com/2008/01/ripplerap-next-phase.html

Those not already following RippleRap might be interested to know that
we see it as a collection of distinct plugins; that is, you might be
interested in the publish / subscribe mechanism, or some other aspect,
even if you're not interested in the combined RippleRap product.

Cheers,
Phil
