I have been using the online tool clipperz (http://www.clipperz.com)
to store my passwords. I feel secure because they use browser-side
encryption and store the encrypted data on their server. Kinda like
TW!

Since I already use TW for many other things, are there plugins that
could provide the same functionality in TW? Are there any obvious
loopholes to using TW in this way?

Ideally, it is securely encrypted to the point that I can feel
comfortable hosting it on tiddlyspot (as an online backup).

Thoughts?

I'm using Lyall's TiddlerEncryptionPlugin*, and feel quite comfortable
with it.
There are more options listed on the community wiki:

(Feel free to enhance that page, either by adding new insights or by
restructuring the information already on there.)

Apart from the general concerns with regards to cryptography, I'm not
aware of any TW-specific loopholes (although this depends on the
respective plugin's implementation, of course).

For the record: You can also password-protect your entire wiki on
Tiddlyspot.
