Track Season

Well, the spring season is winding down.  Most of you are in the midst of finals or sighing with relief that they are over until the fall!

 

So now it's time to start thinking about Track season and of course the fall MTB season.  Several schools have indicated an interest in hosting a track event - MSU, LSU, A&M, and UTA.  I just need the race directors to get in touch with Matt and me so we can get the dates on the calendar.  Also which school would like to host the Conf Champinships for Track.

 

I will be scheduling a Conference Meeting about mid July to discuss the mtb season.  In the meantime, start thinking about hosting an event, where and when.  Be sure to have an alternate date in mind as well.  I'll get back to you with a definite date and place before the end of June.

 

The first mtb will be hosted by Camp Eagle over Labor Day weekend.  There will be Super D, STXC and XC events for collegiates.  Keep checking the tmbra.org website for details of this event.  Don't forget to get your reservations in early if you want to share dorm rooms that come with a shower, bunkbeds and A/C!  I've been told that they have revitalized the water front with bigger fun activities and the Zip line will be up and running.
