Do the new elevators have a camera? There is a transparent section right above the buttons.

i don't think so.  They never mentioned cameras in any of the meetings.  Maybe we should tell everyone that so people would stop smoking and setting off bldg alarms!  :)

Were there injuries or lawsuits that yielded the new elevators.  Other than the safety of the doors opening if they sense a body part, I don't see much of a difference.  A new panel!

i like the new change in bldg 15 but was the floor always that ugly grey one or was it somethign else before? i dont often use that elevator, very rarely actually so i cant recall but it seemed like it was nicer before lol 

now how can we upgrade the service elevators?? any idea on the cost??

Joyce, I don't think there was a lawsuit on it but reasons to just upgrade the engine as they were quite old.  The remodel was done beautifully! (I did like the way it looked before with the warmer cognac panels.)  We've had issues of elevator engine noise in our unit but that has improved a great deal for us so we couldn't be happier with the results of the upgrade/remodel.  Bldg 14 elevator went down all day Sunday but heard that was to be expected with new engines.

The floor will be remodeled by David Mora's team shortly.  Approved @ $560 / elevator (i think that was the figure @ the meeting)  You should request the service elevators be upgraded to Ron.  It could already be in there plans for future upgrades.  His email is ron @ rossmorganco (dot) com  / r...@rossmorganco.com
