Subject: Errata From Tonight's Game

Attached is the corrections and changes made due to our discussions after
tonight's game.

In addition, all "munchkin" "Hackmaster-ish" items are now more
serious/traditional items.  I.E. "Fanny Pack of Hefty Capacity" would now be
an "Extra Large Bag of Holding", etc.

Use of the Cards is Optional.

I hope these makes the game more fun, balanced, and enjoyable for all.

Peace,

Rodney

Subject: RE: Errata From Tonight's Game

On the weapons table provided in the errata.  Bushito damage changed to
1d12+2 so it is superior to the others in it's size class (I messed up and
forgot to change the 1 to a 2 on the errata, though I did change it in the
book).  Both Bastard Sword entries dropped and replaced with Bastard Sword
1d10+1.  The Bastard Sword is not a well balanced as the Small Claymore,
thus the +2 on the Small Claymore, as it's a superior weapon in that size
class.  Standard Sword was added, which is different from Long Sword, as
Standard Sword has a variable size (catch all category) of 0-1 hex, whilst
Long Sword is only 1 hex.  Likewise, the Katana and Wakizashi are also +2
due to their superior craftsmanship in their size categories (and I forgot
to put them in the errata as well).

I've updated the Errata and re-sent it with this e-mail.

Subject: Game Saturday!
Hey all,

This Saturday is my day off, so I plan on having a game here, kicking things
off around 1pm (after lunch).  We plan on having a cake of some sort to
celebrate Robert and Rosemary's birthdays as well as the normal dinner fare.
We could do a Lazonia or something different instead of pizza pie?  What
kind of cake do you want Robert (and Rosemary)?

Please let us know who all can make it ASAP.

C'ya,

Rodney

I'm still pushing hard at work -- will be through Oct. 27, minimum --
so no game for me this weekend. (And if the product release slips,
I won't really be free for even longer.)

1> Since both Doug and Sam can't make it, and likewise the Wells are at St.
Crispin's Feast for the SCA the same day...  It's kind of hard to run a game
with only two players.  That combined with Luana's folks being in town
didn't help matters (they are down from Fairbanks, not staying here, but
"around" all the same).  Plus it was really short notice on my part anyway,
so that's shame on me.  Bad Rodney.  Naughty GM (slaps hands)!

2> So the Calendar until Game Storm looks like this at this point:

November 4th, Available to Game 4:30-9pm (Graveyard Shift)

November 18th, OryCon weekend, not sure if I'm helping or not, as I
haven't heard back from the powers that be.  If not, then I'm Available to
Game from 1pm-11pm (day off).

November 25th, Thanksgiving weekend, Available to Game from
4:30pm-9pm.  I'm scheduled to work Day Shift that week, and last year got to
work Thanksgiving (Triple Time is cool!).  We technically get Thursday and
Friday off as a holiday and are not required to work them if they don't shut
down.  But the money is tooooo good if they don't' shut down (and needed for
all the nephews and nieces we have to buy presents for... Wes has six kids
and Mike has four...).  If they do shut down, then we'll go to Pasco
Wednesday night and come home Friday.

December 2nd, Available to Game 4:30-9pm, (Graveyard Shift).

December 16th, cHanukkah begins, Available to Game 1pm-11pm (day
off).  We should have some sort of Jewish tie in with the game... hmmm...
maybe Lamb for dinner or something?  Mazah and horseradish for appetizer?

December 23rd, Weekend Before Christmas, Available to Game 4:30-11pm
(Day Shift, next day off (Christmas Eve)).  The plant doesn't shut down for
Christmas break until 11pm on that day (normally, no announcement yet).

December 30th, New Years weekend, Available to Game 1pm-11pm (plant
is supposed to be shut down; scheduled for Graveyard Shift if not shut down,
which is very unlikely).

January 13th, Available to Game 1pm-11pm, (day off).

January 20th, Available to Game 4:30pm-9pm (Day Shift).

January 27th, Available to Game 4:30pm-9pm (Graveyard Shift).

February 10th, Available to Game 1pm-11pm (day off).

February 17th, RADCON, Gaming all weekend... at RadCon (vacation
off, scheduled for Day Shift).

February 24th, Available to Game 4:30-9pm (Graveyard Shift)

March 10th, Available to Game 1pm-11pm (day off)

March 17th, Available to Game 4:30-9pm (Day Shift)

March 24th, Available to Game 4:30-9pm Graveyard Shift)

March 31st, Game Storm, Gaming all weekend... at Game Storm
(vacation of, scheduled for Swing Shfit).

3> It also sounds like folks are getting burned out on the current game with
characters nearing or at retirement and so forth.  It might be a good time
to consider taking a break from the game for the
Holidays/Finals/Football/World Series, and/or re-starting with new
characters?  It's had a really good run this go around.  The second longest
Claymore run I've had with the same PCs (we started in September of 2005, so
that's 13 months).  I'm open to whatever folks would like to do.

If everyone's up for it.  I vote for starting new characters.  Although I know that I'm a fairly old one.
Thanks,

I apologize for the lateness of this e-mail.  We just got back from Seattle
with Luana's folks.

So do we want to have a game this Saturday or not?  I'm up for it if we can
get enough people to play.  Who is would be interested in a game this
Saturday?

That's three.  Doug are you busy or can you join in?  That would give us
four players.  I really don't want to run this adventure with only three
players.  It's a bit on the brutal side.  And Doug's Dwarf would come in
mighty handy in the tunnels.
