Hi all,

We are downloading the Excel with from Web application with the data at the client side. This is happening in the following way,

1. Open Excel at Server machine

2. Save in Server drive along with the data in Excel.

3. Open that Excel at Client side.

4. Delet the saved Excel in Server side.

But after deleting the Excel object instance is remaining in Task manager Processes.

I don’t know how to end that Excel instance process after opening the excel in client side .

Pls  someone  help me  who knows the solution.

Regards,

vimal.

Hi vimal,
try the following
Save the  excel process created time when it is created using
            System.Diagnosis.Process  class

dig more on this class for more help

and kill the process after the excel sheet is deleted
