monarchs in Abilene 
  Mary, I just checked the radar and there's a goodly amout of showers sweeping down toward Junction from the Abilene area. I'm willing to bet that the monarchs will hit Junction on Friday if not Saturday. Look at the speed of these showers on radar! [link]... more »

Captured monarch from Ohio 
  On Friday, 11/3/06, I netted a male monarch on the north end peninsula to the Lavaca Bay Causeway to Port Lavaca.
