Hello,
I have a problem with georeferencing a cad layer. I imported a cad
file into my rvc-file. Afterwards I wanted it georeference under 'Main/
Georeference' but I cannot select the cad layer in the 'Object
Georeferencing' - window.
Is there something I have ignored?
I work with TNTMips 2006:72.
It's probably generated a georeference subobject automatically, when you imported it - use Project File Maintenance to delete the subobject, and then hopefully the Cad object will be available for selection in the Georeference process.

Your CAD layer may have already a projection system. You need to delete that projection system so that you can open your document via georeferencing window. You may try the following:
Tools --> manage project files Select your project file and delete the PROJECTION file stating either latlon, or UTM, or any other projection system.
