Subject: georeferencing cad layer
Hello,
I have a problem with georeferencing a cad layer. I imported a cad
file into my rvc-file. Afterwards I wanted it georeference under 'Main/
Georeference' but I cannot select the cad layer in the 'Object
Georeferencing' - window.
Is there something I have ignored?
I work with TNTMips 2006:72.

nice regards,
Jörn

Hi Jörn,

It's probably generated a georeference subobject automatically, when you
imported it - use Project File Maintenance to delete the subobject, and then
hopefully the Cad object will be available for selection in the Georeference
process.

Cheers,

Ross

Hi Jorn,

Your CAD layer may have already a projection system. You need to delete that
projection system so that you can open your document via georeferencing
window. You may try the following:

Tools --> manage project files
Select your project file and delete the PROJECTION file stating
either latlon, or UTM, or any other projection system.

Cheers,
