I didn't mean to cause suck a stink, I told my nephew I would ask
because he ask me if he could go with me, he has show a geat deal on
intrest. However he does not have CP. I understand 100% the strugles,
I too strugled with it because this is "My Time" . I beleave he would
be fine at the conference. At the start he may be shy and uncomfy but
he would soon be ok. He and I talk lots about my CP and all the things
I have done in life and the things I still struggle with. I beleave he
understands more then most about my CP due to our talks and
relationship.
I would like to thank ALL of you for your thoughts and PLEASE post
again if you have any other thoughts or suggestions

Yet, my concern is for many of us this is the one time a year we adults with CP have a safe environment to discuss and have adult conversations. Two parts to my concern are; would this discourage people to speak freely about their feelings?. And, would the young man himself be comfortable with all of us " old folks ".

She has helped put together sessions at the conferences, and has a wealth of information about alternative medicine and other subjects which she has generously shared with others at the conferences.

This is an important issue, and both sides of the question should be heard. One can agree or disagree with Dina, but her support and enthusiasm for The Group cannot be doubted.
