Subject: wiki, forums and instructions

Hi all,

Over the last few days I've been kicking around trying to get forums up and
running on the TCD website. Instead of using the forums (which aren't
working), I've edited the comment threads and posts that we used for the
pre-caucus forums to work for this purpose (
http://thurstondemocrats.org/writetheplatform).

You can check there periodically for user input, but I'll let you know if
there are any comments there that you can consider.

The intention of the wiki is so folks can see the entire "work in progress"
as it is being written. Everyone on the platform committee who has an
account at thurstondemocrats.org should be able to edit the platform wiki.
So, just go to the wiki (http://thurstondemocrats.org/2008platformwiki),
make sure you're signed in and hit the edit tab. Then, just start typing.
There is a rich text editor available at the bottom of the text entry screen
to help you.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Emmett

Yo Emmett,

  What's the deal?

It has now been changed from googlegroups which I was having one hell of a time getting to now to some new address at thurston dems. which is even worse.

Maybe I need to be schooled up on this.  I have a responsibility to be getting messages on to the platform.  Go into this a little further 'cause I just am not getting to these places to easy.
