Brickyard Ratings DownESPN officials said ratings from the telecast of the Allstate 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway was down 5.9 percent from last year’s race, though it was the highest-rated race on cable this season. Sunday’s race received a rating of 4.8, down from the 5.1 of 2008. ESPN said the race had an average viewership of 6,487,450 for the second most-viewed Cup race ever on ESPN, exceeded only by last year’s Indianapolis race 6,667,729. ...Daily HeadlinesFormer Crew Member May Testify Against MayfieldIn court filings Monday, NASCAR said they have a ‘significant number’ of witnesses who can testify that they saw Mayfield using the same drug that NASCAR said they tested him positive for but that the former driver denies taking. Mayfield and NASCAR have been in and out of court since NASCAR suspended him for a positive drug test. Mayfield sought and won and injunction to be reinstated only to have NASCAR
 win an appeal to have him suspended again. It’s widely believed that among the witnesses that will testify against Mayfield is a former crewmember for his team, Paul Chodora, who was suspended by NASCAR in February for a positive drug test. There is a possibility that his testimony could include statements that he used meth with Mayfield. At the time of Chodora’s suspension Mayfield’s organization fired him then released a statement saying "We as an organization appreciate NASCAR's drug testing policies and policing efforts as it makes the sport stronger overall. If Paul doesn't comply with NASCAR's reinstatement process, then he will no longer be an employee of Mayfield Motorsports." ...Daily HeadlinesMayfield Trial Will Take Over A YearThe NASCAR-Jeremy Mayfield trial won’t begin any earlier than Sept. 13, 2010, in U.S. District Court in Charlotte, according to a schedule set by Judge Graham Mullen. Plenty of things could happen to keep the
 trial from beginning at that time. Either side could win in the summary judgment phase if the judge determines there’s no need for trial, the case could be settled out of court or the trial could be delayed as the investigation phase proceeds. Both sides must complete their investigations and depositions by April 7, 2010, and motions for summary judgment are due May 7. The trial is scheduled to begin during the court term that starts Sept. 13. ...MoreMcMurray Out At RoushCrown Royal will become the primary sponsor for the No. 17 Roush-Fenway Racing Ford in 2010 the team announced Tuesday. The company had been a sponsor aT Roush since 2005 and will now move from the No. 26 of Jamie McMurray to the Kenseth team. DeWalt Tools announced last week that they would be ending their sponsorship of Kenseth and the No.17 at the end of this season. With the move Jamie McMurray and his team currently have no home, though it’s widely anticipated they will move to
 Yates Racing; a move that has yet to be finalized. Race 2 Win Radio is Going Trucking!
Co-Host Blake Feese to Drive No. 15 Toyota for Billy Ballew at Nashville
TAYLORS, SC (July 30, 2009) – If this week’s episode of Race 2 Win Radio - http://www.blogtalkradio.com/race2win - tends to lean in the direction of the Camping World Truck Series, it will not be completely by accident. Not only do special guests TJ Bell and Caitlin Shaw have ties to the world of trucks, but Race 2 Win Radio’s very own Blake Feese will be driving the No. 15 Toyota Tundra for Billy Ballew Motorsports this weekend at the Nashville Superspeedway. This show will air live at 1:00 pm ET.
The 27-year-old Feese will be making his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start on Saturday, August 1st at 7:00 pm in the Toyota Tundra 200. Feese has competed in a total of 13 events in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, most notably behind the wheel of the No. 5 Lowe’s Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports.
"I’m so excited to be back racing in the trucks this weekend at Nashville," Feese said. "I made my first ever Camping World Truck Series start for Billy Ballew in 2005. I’ve worked with Richie (Wauters, crew chief) before and I couldn’t be happier than to have this whole team believe in me to drive for them this weekend. They have consistently fast, solid trucks every week and I’m ready to jump right in. I’ve won in the ARCA (RE/MAX) Series and have a lot of laps from testing over the years in Nashville so I feel pretty good going back to that track. I have to thank Billy (Ballew) for the opportunity to drive the No. 15 Tundra this weekend and hopefully we’ll bring home a solid finish Saturday."
Sticking with the recent theme of "NASCAR’s Future," Race 2 Win Radio will welcome two more young and talented drivers in TJ Bell, driver of the No. 11 Red Horse Racing Toyota and Caitlin Shaw, who drove the No. 1 Toyota in her Truck Series debut last week at O'Reilly Raceway Park, as guests on the July 30th episode.
Kerry Murphey, host of The Final Lap, will also call in to the show on Thursday and give his views on the news that is making headlines. Murphey is heard twice daily on several hundred radio stations in the US and Canada.
Mike Calinoff, spotter for Matt Kenseth, will check in with his "Keys to Winning" segment for Pocono and talk about the No. 17 team’s solid effort at Indy as the Chase for the Cup looms on the horizon. Award-winning journalist Kenny Bruce, assistant managing editor of NASCAR Scene, is back to take his turn on the "Writer’s Block," a weekly segment he shares with Rick Minter, senior writer for RacinToday.com, in which two of the top writers in the sport discuss the biggest stories in and around NASCAR.
Race 2 Win Radio features NASCAR veteran Jeff Holtzclaw as host with Heather Meyer of the Stock Car Gazette and professional racecar driver Blake Feese serving as co-hosts. The show airs live every Thursday afternoon from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET at www.blogtalkradio.com/race2win. Immediately following the live show, you can listen to, or download, any episode on-demand or on-the-go.
Listeners are always welcome to join in on the show. If you would like to comment on any topic or if you have a question for any of our guests or hosts, you can contact us by sending an email to ra...@race2win.net anytime or by calling (646) 200-4485 during the live broadcast.
Fans also have the opportunity to chat with co-host Heather Meyer in the show’s chat room during the broadcast and submit questions or suggest topics with this feature. Users must sign up for an account at www.blogtalkradio.com before they can chat.

NEXT RACE: U.S. Cellular 250, 4:30 pm/et, Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Iowa SpeedwaySubs at Iowa:$75,000 "Dash 4 Cash" Bonus Ready For Taking At Iowa:Entry List: UPDATE:Nationwide Series Makes Iowa Speedway Debut:Pizza Ranch sponsoring Busch at Iowa:NASCAR to run Nationwide COT at Daytona in July; Ford to run Mustang; Image posted UPDATES:McDowell in the #26 at Iowa and road courses:Mike Wallace sues Germain over GEICO sponsorship:Barr-Nunn sponsoring O'Quinn at Iowa: Danny O'Quinn #01 and JD Motorsports will have Barr-Nunn Transportation and Meskwaki Resort and Motel as associate sponsors for the Iowa Nationwide Series event. Danny O'Quinn has long been associated with Barr-Nunn Transportation. Mike Wallace #0 and Kertus Davis # 04, will again try to make the Iowa show with, as yet, un-sponsored cars.(JD Motorsports PR)(7-29-2009) Mike Wallace is suing Germain Racing and business associate Doug Barnette over the loss of his final year of the GEICO
 sponsorship. Wallace had signed a three-year sponsor agreement with GEICO beginning in 2007, when he drove for Phoenix Racing, according to documents that accompanied the lawsuit filed Monday in North Carolina Superior court in Concord, N.C. The three-year deal with Wallace was worth $6 million annually from GEICO directly to Wallace. Wallace then moved the sponsorship to Germain Racing, where he had a two-year deal for the 2008-2009 seasons. For 2008 and 2009 with Germain, Wallace agreed to pay Germain Racing $4.7 million a year to field cars for him and $600,000 (10 percent of the GEICO contract) to Barnette, who runs the Player Management International sports agency and served as the business liaison between GEICO and Wallace. That left Wallace with an annual base salary of $700,000. Wallace alleges that Germain Racing breached its contract by not providing him with a car in 2009, for violating an agreement that all communications with GEICO would be
 through Wallace and for soliciting GEICO for its Sprint Cup sponsorship of driver Max Papis. Wallace is suing Barnette for failing to work with him in retaining GEICO and moving the GEICO sponsorship to another driver.( Michael McDowell will be driving the #26 Dodge at Iowa, Watkins Glen, and Montreal with Brian Keselowski as crew chief. The team will evaluate future races after that time. Brian will drive at Michigan International Speedway, but no decision has been made about Bristol yet. Driving the #96 car this weekend will be Andy Ponstein with Bob Keselowski serving as crew chief.(K-Automotive PR)(7-29-2009) It appears the Nationwide Series version of the Car of Tomorrow will not make its debut until next July at Daytona. NASCAR had hoped to roll out the new car for the series next February, however after meeting Tuesday with Nationwide Series owners at NASCAR's Technical Center in Concord, North Carolina, team owner Rusty Wallace said it was a
 timing issue. The former Sprint Cup Series champion said, "Most of the teams were concerned about how soon the car would come out and how much would it cost. As the meeting went on it became apparent it won't come out in Daytona (February) as thought...it's just too soon." Wallace felt the majority of the owners thought the car should roll out next July at Daytona and probably no road courses will be involved in 2010. The delay is all about money. "The economy is really killing us right now," said Wallace. "A lot of it is about cash flow too....it's all about bringing this thing out at the right time where the teams can afford it and we've got time to be prepared." Wallace suspects the new car could be raced on speedways like Phoenix or Charlotte, however NASCAR has yet to decide where testing will take place. Meanwhile, team owner Kevin Harvick came away from the meeting with a positive feeling. Harvick said, "I think they were open and listened to
 everyone's opinion. Obviously NASCAR is in a spot where they have to make a decision for a multitude of scenarios and situations and try to make the best decision for the sport. Obviously from a safety standpoint I think the new cars are good and listening to some of the cup owners talk about what the car has done for them, once they zeroed in on where they needed to be with chassis and things like that, it sounds like the production process is a little bit bette, a little more streamlined than it was before. It's going to take some time to put that process in place but it looks like they've thought it through and we'll see where it goes.( For the first time ever Pizza Ranch will adorn the Joe Gibbs Racing #18 Nationwide Series Toyota driven by Kyle Busch this Saturday night from Iowa Speedway.Pizza Ranch ranks as the largest regional pizza restaurant chain in the upper Midwest with over 144 locations across nine states in the Midwest.(Joe Gibbs Racing
 PR)(7-30-2009) ESPN continues its season-long coverage of the NASCAR Nationwide Series this weekend as the series races for the first time ever at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa. The live, flag-to-flag telecast is presented by GoDaddy.com and airs on ESPN on Saturday, Aug. 1, at 4 p.m. ET. ESPN2 is the home of the NASCAR Nationwide Series all season, with selected races on ESPN and ABC. Also on Saturday, live coverage of NASCAR Nationwide Series qualifying airs at 1 p.m. on ESPN2, while coverage of final practice airs Friday, July 31, at 5 p.m. on ESPN2. Marty Reid will be lap-by-lap announcer for ESPN's coverage, with analysis by 1989 NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Rusty Wallace and two-time NASCAR Nationwide Series champion Randy LaJoie. Reporting from the pits will be Jack Arute, Mike Massaro and Rick DeBruhl.(ESPN PR)(7-26-2009) There are 51 cars on the preliminary entry list for Saturday's U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway. Some notes:
The driver of the #07 is TBA;
Kelly Bires is in the #10 for Braun;
The #31 driver is TBA;
Brian Ickler is in the #32;
Coleman Pressley will make his series debut in the JTG #47;
The #52 is TBA;
Bobby Hamilton, Jr. returns to the #81;
Jeff Fuller will be in the NEMCO #87.(7-27-2009)
UPDATE: Mike Harmon is now listed as the driver of the #07, and Michael McDowell is in the #81 in place of Bobby Hamilton, Jr.(7-28-2009)
UPDATE 2: Derrike Cope has been added in the #78.(7-29-2009)
UPDATE 3: Michael McDowell has now moved from the #81 to the K-Automotive #26 in place of Brian Keselowski. Sean Murphy will be in the #81 for MacDonald Motorsports, and Andy Ponstein will drive the #96.(7-29-2009)
UPDATE 4: hearing that Kertus Davis will be in the #0 in place of Mike Wallace, who will be attempted the Pocono Cup race, and that the team has withdrawn the #04.(7-29-2009)
See the complete list on the  It's still sitting there, waiting. It hasn't been dormant, though. It's been growing at a rate of $25,000 at a time while it waits. "It" is the "Dash 4 Cash" bonus that series sponsor Nationwide Insurance offers to the winner in one of the four designated "Dash 4 Cash" races this season. Eligible drivers are those who run full-time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (including full-time double-duty drivers) and series-only drivers who compete in partial and limited schedules in the series. Joey Logano spoiled the opportunities for eligible drivers in the first two events  at Nashville Superspeedway in April and at Kentucky Speedway in June. Each time Logano won, the bonus added $25,000 from its original $25,000 starting point. Kevin Harvick is the fly in the ointment at Iowa. Like Logano, he's not running a full-time schedule in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this year. He wins, the bonus rolls to $100,000 in the final "Dash 4
 Cash" event at Memphis Motorsports Park in October.(NASCAR PR)(7-28-2009)Iowa Race Page.(7-27-2009)PRN Garage Pass)
AND: Mustang is already the most successful single nameplate brand in professional racing history, but it hasn't competed in NASCAR  until now. Brian Wolfe, director of Ford North America Motorsports, made the announcement today that Mustang will debut as part of NASCAR's "new car" limited rollout in the 2010 Nationwide Series. Ford Racing has gone through the official NASCAR submission and approval process for the new car, and, once templates are finalized, production of Mustang parts will start so teams can build the first cars for testing later this fall.(Ford PR), see an image of the car on the 2010 Ford COT page.
AND: Ford Racing Communications Manager Kevin Kennedy told Sirius Speedway Tuesday that the new NASCAR Mustang will be more stock-appearing than the Sprint Cup Ford Fusion, adding that the appearance of the car was at the top of FoMoCo's wish list. While declining to comment on the direction Chevrolet, Dodge and Toyota might make with their versions of the new Nationwide car, Kennedy confirmed that NASCAR would like to make the series a pony-car/musclecar-based platform.(Sirius-Speedway(7-28-2009)
UPDATE: Statement from Robin Pemberton, NASCAR Vice President, Competition: "We had a very productive meeting this morning (Tuesday, July 28) with the team owners from the NASCAR Nationwide Series about the rollout schedule for that series' new race car. "In the days ahead, we will digest what was discussed today and make a final decision on the rollout for next season with full anticipation of integrating the new car for the entire 2011 schedule."(NASCAR PR)(7-28-2009)
UPDATE 2: The new Nationwide Series model could be a limited edition. Vice president of competition Robin Pemberton says NASCAR is exploring a car limit for its next-generation car, which will be phased in next season before a full-time rollout in 2011. During a meeting with Nationwide teams Tuesday in Concord, N.C., Pemberton said some teams asked NASCAR to consider capping the number of cars that each team can have certified. "It's gaining momentum to limit a team to maybe eight cars," said Pemberton, who added that NASCAR easily can monitor teams' chassis with microchip tracking devices. The move could be a cost-saving measure for Nationwide teams, which must absorb the expense of overhauling their cars during a time when sponsorship is scarce. Pemberton said NASCAR also is considering incorporating tests into race weekends to minimize travel costs.(USA Today)(7-29-2009)SceneDaily)(7-29-2009)

Steckly Overcomes Adversity In Saskatoon
Wins Inaugural Velocity Prairie Thunder
SASKATOON, Sask. – Scott Steckly charged from the rear of the field and won the Velocity Prairie Thunder presented by Bayer Crop Science on Wednesday night at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway in NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 action.
Racing out of Milverton, Ont., Steckly lost a engine in practice and was not able to make repairs prior to qualifying forcing him to start in the 18th position. However, on Lap 128 he was able to move past Don Thomson Jr. to take the race lead.
Waging a spirited battle all race long, Steckly led the final 37 laps beat Thomson to the line by 3.311 seconds.
Kennington finished third followed by Jason Hathaway, who finished a season-best fourth. Anthony Simone continues a strong sophomore season with a fifth-place finish.
Dave Whitlock, Ron Beauchamp Jr., Andrew Ranger, Jason White and Kerry Micks rounded out the top 10.
It was a historic night as the track hosted the first NASCAR-sanctioned event in the province of Saskatchewan as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series made its debut at the .333-mile oval.
The race was slowed five times by caution for a total of 40 laps. There were 12 lead changes involving four drivers.
With six races remaining in the season, unofficially in the championship point standings, Ranger is in first place, but his lead over Steckly is just 31 points. Beauchamp holds down the third-place spot.
Earlier in the evening, Thomson won his first pole of the 2009 season. He is the series’ all-time leader in pole awards with 10.
The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 is in action next on Aug. 8 at Mosport Speedway in Bowmanville, Ont., for the Mosport 200.

Malsam competed at the 1.333-mile Superspeedway one year ago in the ARCA/ReMax Series. With Malsam's solid effort at Kentucky, the Seattle, Washington native extended his lead in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year Point Standings. Malsam currently leads second-place Johnny Sauter by a total of eight points.(: The new Nationwide Series model could be a limited edition. Vice president of competition Robin Pemberton says NASCAR is exploring a car limit for its next-generation car, which will be phased in next season before a full-time rollout in 2011. "It's gaining momentum to limit a team to maybe eight cars," said Pemberton, who added that NASCAR easily can monitor teams' chassis with
 microchip tracking devices. The move could be a cost-saving measure for Nationwide teams, which must absorb the expense of overhauling their cars during a time when sponsorship is scarce. Pemberton said NASCAR also is considering incorporating tests into race weekends to minimize travel costs. ( Three drivers will pull double duty this weekend between Iowa Speedway and Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway. Series standings leader Kyle Busch, second-place Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick will be at Iowa for Thursday's test session before traveling to and from Iowa and Pocono for the races at each track. Standing by to practice and/or qualify if necessary are Jeremy Clements for Busch, Auggie Vidovich for Edwards and Cale Gale for Harvick.(NASCAR PR)(7-28-2009)Minter: NASCAR Needs To Show Blind Data Rumors persist that Richard Petty Motorsports will shrink to three cars in the next few weeks, with A.J. Allmendinger moving to the #43 Dodge,
 replacing Reed Sorenson, and the #44 team being shut down.(Ford Racing)(7-29-2009)
UPDATE: An internet report claiming that Reed Sorenson will be released by Richard Petty Motorsports as part of a downsizing of the team's Sprint Cup roster appears to be premature. The Ford Racingwebsite reported on rumors that Sorenson will be replaced by former Champ Car star A.J. Allmendinger when Allmendinger's #44 Dodge is mothballed within the next few weeks. However, a source close to the team - speaking on the condition of anonymity - said today that while the move is being discussed, Sorenson's release is not yet a done deal. "No one is sure that it's going to happen," said the source, "but it's definitely being talked about. The team is working on the details right now." If RPM does indeed decide to trim its roster from four cars to three, Allmendinger's current sponsors would transfer to the #43 Dodge. Calls to Richard Petty Motorsports seeking comment were not immediately returned.(Sirius Speedway)(7-29-2009) Comment here Lisa Mayfield is
 seeking damages against her stepson, suspended Sprint Cup driver Jeremy Mayfield, for public comments he made in regard to his civil case against NASCAR, according to court documents. Lisa Mayfield is seeking compensatory damages in excess of $10,000, punitive damages in excess of $10,000 and any other "relief as the court may deem just and proper." The complaint was filed Wednesday in the Iredell County Civil court in Statesville.(read the full story at ESPN.com)(7-29-2009) Comment here Sports car ace  Gloria Ann Summers [Casey Mears Grandmother] 1926 - 2009 Gloria Ann Summers, 82, of Bakersfield, California residing in Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 25, 2009 at Asbury Care Center/Aldersgate enduring a long battle with Alzheimer's. Massa's father said his improving son had moved out of AEK hospital's intensive care unit. "Felipe speaks, can sit upright and was even able to take his first steps," Ferrari said in a statement. "From the clinical and radiological point of view, everything is going extremely well." The 28-year-old Brazilian was hit in the helmet by a loose part from another car and crashed into a protective tire barrier at 120 mph during qualifying Saturday at the Hungarian Grand Prix. He sustained skull fractures and a concussion. Also on Wednesday, Brazilian driver and
 friend Popo Bueno said Massa had asked about his chances of racing in Valencia in three weeks, the next race on the F1 calendar. Seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher will replace Massa at the European GP on Aug. 21-23.( Racing in his fourth race in four days, Kyle Busch started sixth in the CRA Super Series event and worked his way through traffic to take the lead on the 50th lap of the Redbud 300, his first ever race at Anderson Speedway(IN), then held it until the half way break. After the restart Eddie Hoffman inherited the lead as he only took 2 tires. Busch restarted in fifth and retook the lead on lap 190 and stayed to win going away. Rick Turner prevailed in the fierce fight for second, with Aaron Pierce third, Johnny VanDoorn fourth and Chuck Barnes, Jr. fifth.(craracing.net)(7-30-2009)Associated Press/ESPN)(7-30-2009)Jimmie Johnson Foundation.(Bakersfield Californian)(7-30-2009)Andy Lallyis set to make his NASCAR Sprint Cup debut at the
 Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips race at Watkins Glen International Raceway on August 9. Lally will join TRG Motorsports regular David Gilliland in a second car at The Glen [#Lally will run the #71 and Gilliland the #70]. The 34-year old Lally, originally from Northport, New York, has always called Watkins Glen his home track. The sports car veteran has an impressive road racing background having won Rolex Series championships in three different classes, GT in 2006, SGS in 2004 and SRPII in 2001. In addition, Lally anchored the GT class winning Rolex 24 Hour GT team this past February. He currently drives the #67 TRG Porsche in the Rolex GT Series. "Not only am I extremely honored to have a chance to qualify for my first ever Sprint Cup race, but when you add in the fact that it will be in my home state of New York, and at my favorite track makes this opportunity all that more special," Lally said. "I can't wait to get out there and see what we have. I
 would like to thank Kevin Buckler and the partners at TRG Motorsports for putting their faith in me for this race." Lally has some miles behind the wheel of the TRG Motorsports Chevy. "I have had a chance to test the car already as the team prepared for Infineon. I learned a lot that day and the guys have improved the car since then. I only did about 20 laps in that session so it was a good first outing in the car. The team had a good primary car at Infineon and I think we can even improve on that for The Glen. We have a couple of more test dates set, so I will be able to get some more miles under my belt prior to the race. I have three weeks before the race and in that time I will be working with Slugger (Richard "Slugger" Labbe, crew chief) to cram in as much knowledge as possible. " Kevin Buckler, TRG Motorsports team principal, once again, is giving Lally an opportunity to expand his racing resume. "Andy has been an integral part of our sports car
 team for over four years now and has also been a good friend," Buckler said. "He is one of the best road racers there is and he knows Watkins Glen like his own backyard. We brought him into NASCAR in 2007 when we started our programs, so I feel it is really cool to give him this shot in Sprint Cup. The partners and I are all really excited about this race. We are running two cars for the first time all season. We will also be introducing our TRG hospitality program that we intend to us in 2010."(TRG Motorsports)(7-29-2009) Comment here Brian Wolfe, the director of Ford Racing Technology, said the new Ford engine will take to the track in anger very soon. Before the Chase begins. The exact timing of rollout will be determined by the teams which will use it. He is promising no miracles for those teams. "We've really struggled this year  you know that better than I do  after the first two races. Some bad luck, then probably some missed setups and we got
 some issues going and we haven't had the wins. While the engine has tested well and appears to do what Ford wants it to do, teams will have to figure out how it affects other areas of performance. Areas like aerodynamics. Its improved cooling capabilities will allow teams to tamper with front downforce by using less tape on the nose. Some in the Ford camp have balked about using the new engine this year. Those would mostly be teams which appear headed to the Chase. Wolfe said he understands their concerns and will not pressure those teams to use the new engine.(Racin' Today)(7-30-2009) Comment here Jack Daniel's, sponsor of the #07 Chevy that Casey Mears drives, has until Sept. 1 to inform Richard Childress Racing of its status for 2010. Some people in the NASCAR marketing circle say that Jack Daniel's will not be coming back full-time next year, so do they become an associate sponsor on the other RCR cars or go elsewhere? That decision will determine
 if there will be a fourth team at RCR next year. Certainly expanding to four teams has depleted the organization as a whole because Mears' team was a testing team last year. Childress needs to decide if he wants to field four teams or have three Cup teams and one testing team.(FoxSports), supposedly Mears signed a multi-year deal with RCR before the start of the 2009 season.(7-30-2009) Comment here for the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway is posted, 43 teams/drivers [for 43 spots] are listed, including:
