I received an email from someone at that new hotel by 280 and
sandhill.  Sounds like they want the prestige of having us patronize
their establishment:

I'm writing from Rosewood Sand Hill (the new hotel on the corner of
Sand Hill Road and 280), and I wanted to make sure the Stanford
Cycling Club knows we're here - and I especially want to spread the
word about our new Spa Cafe, which caters to cyclists biking up and
down Sand Hill Road!

We are owned by Stanford, so we're part of the Cardinal family.  (I
also went to Stanford for undergraduate and graduate school, so I'm a
Cardinal fan through and through.)

We've got a delicious menu at the Spa Cafe, and I have a feeling
members of the Stanford Cycling Club would enjoy stopping by on some
bike trips for a smoothie, panini, salad, or one of our baked goods.

We also have bike racks and both indoor and outdoor seating to
accommodate cyclists taking a break during a long ride (or a short
one)!

The Spa Cafe is located at 2895 Sand Hill Road (on the western side of
the Rosewood Sand Hill property), and is open 10:30 am - 4:00 pm
Monday through Friday.

Could you please help me spread the great news that we're open by
either forwarding this information to your club's email list, or
providing me with an email list that I can send to?
