If you haven't read enough of my humorless and dry race reports

It's from the Elkhorn Classic Stage Race in Baker City, Oregon.

Oregon is the land of stage races.  If you can spare the time and  
stand the drive, I highly recommend checking out one of the great  
races up there - Cherry Blossom, Mt. Hood, Cascade, Elkhorn, Tour of  
Walla Walla (Washington)... they may not count for USCF upgrade  
points, but honestly, I think the racing is worth it.
