As it happens, I got these pedals from Ken, but then the bike that I bought came with its own pedals so I never needed them. Would anybody else like them?

I noticed a thread about problems with these type of pedals. I gave
Ritchey pedals to Dan and George. One was a new set and one was a
used set - the used set I had on a road training bike and decided to
have all my road bikes fitted uniformly with Speedplay pedals. I
never had any problems with the pedals or cleats. In fact I still
have Ritchey mountain bike pedals on my two mountain bikes and they
work fine. I will admit I have occasionally had a problem with the
cleats when I use them on the spinning bikes at 24 Hour Fittness - but
not enough that I have quit using them there.

Update:
I borrowed a friend's shoes (which had his cleats on them) and they worked a
lot better with the pedals. So I guess it was just a problem with the
cleats. I should note that the cleats I was borrowing were also Ritchey
cleats, so perhaps it was because they were more worn that they go in easier
or maybe they were a slightly different model?
