Subject: Sonos Line-In ReNamer
OK, so my very first ever functional program is now ready for... uh...
alpha I suppose. It works. Sometimes. Some of it.

It's a *very* simple program I wrote in C# that prompts for the IP of a
ZonePlayer, and can (sometimes) get the Line-In name and (nearly
always) set the line-in name.

There are quite a few things that do not work. I cannot for the life of
me give feedback while the program communicates with the ZP (instead of
hanging for a while), the code is there but it seems to do nothing
(first line of buttonGetName_Click(), if you're interested).

I'm also not sure if getting the line-in name works at all, actually.
It was working. Then I added setting line-in name functionality, and
now, uh, god only knows. It times out, anyway.

The code is full of dodgy documentation. I'd be happy to answer any
questions.

Except that I can't figure out where to attach the file. Am I just
stupid or is it hidden?

The only way I've attached files is to send a mail to the group:
Sonos@googlegroups.com
I don't think the groups interface itself allows it! :(
