Is there some built-in mechanism for re-indexing. I'd like to build
something to update the music index into the HomeSeer scripts so that
people can schedule an overnight re-index, but I can't find a method
anywhere.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for since I'm new to all
this and haven't seen your HS scripts.  I've been poking around with a
UPnP library myself for just this reason.  I've found the
RefreshShareIndex method on the ZonePlayer device seems to do the
trick.  HTH

Brilliant - I'd looked at that but it seemed to end so quickly (10ms)
that I hadn't thought it had done anything.
