It's like that bug that was a week or two ago on Google Reader. After
opening Google Docs page it keeps reloading. I'm using Opera 9.24.
Everything works in Opera 9.50 Beta. Was there any updates to Google
Docs recently?
By the way, if I enter address like so: "http://docs.google.com/?" -
no reloading bus occurs.

Please note that Opera isn't a supported browser (yet) and that you
are/were using an Opera beta version which may get silently updated.
Does your earlier workaround - http://docs.google.com/? - still work?

There's no reloading problem in Opera 9.50 beta. Problem appears in
stable release version 9.24 and in most recent 9.25. If I clear all
private data (cookies and cache), on first log on to Google Docs the
reloading problem does not occur. But, after closing browser and going
to Google Docs again - the page keeps reloading. "Workaround" works
only once, if I have used it to open Google Docs, using it second time
causes reloading bug to occur. Reloading bug occurs even if I sign out
before closing Google Docs page and when I don't check the box to
remember my login information.
It's a very tricky situation. I hope that Opera 9.50 will be stable
soon enough, or I might start search for another online text editing
application ;)

Ah... I read "I'm using Opera 9.24. Everything works in Opera 9.50
Beta." as meaning you'd recetnly upgraded your Opera nd thought that
might be the problem. You could always try the bug forum, but as Opera
isn;t officially supported you might not get much joy....

It's not Opera bug, due to GDocs pages and scripts are oriented on IE
(mega-trojan-installer), and aren't valid (try validator.w3c.org -
even html pages made ugly)
now only 2 browsers comply with web-standards: Opera and Safari, and
both are not compatibly with GDocs.

Google Docs pages and scripts are oriented to both IE and FF. The
Google Docs team uses a very simple standard on which browsers to
support: the one that are used most. :(
