Subject: Xsan - promise raid - final cut server - filemaker
Hi Group,

Does anyone have any experience with using any of the following apple
technologies together?

Multiple capture and edit stations running apple Xsan software where
the projects and content are stored on Xserves with Promise Raid
storage and Final Cut Server?

If so has the implementation been smooth or was it full of surprises
and headaches?

I also would love to add Filemaker pro to the mix for project and
asset management - has anyone in this group successfully tied
filemaker to a final cut pro or final cut pro server workflow?   If so
I would love to hear about your experiences.

I am currently in the process of setting up a new business and am
looking to utilize these technologies to move beyond having multiple
single edit systems toward more of a database driven system where
multiple editors can contribute to a project.

Any information or insight into your experiences would be greatly
appreciated!

Best regards,
Brandon
