Many 1000s Maverick County 
  It's still and oppresive here today, but many 1000s of snouts are moving through Maverick County. They appear to be on a compass heading just a few degrees west of north. Snouts started swarming July 26-27... 
  Mike's is the first report of large snout numbers that I know of. This fits well with the eight inch rain that David Dauphin reported for Mission over the first 10 days of July, given that snouts can complete their life cycle in 16 days. FW: snout migration - Kingsville to Falfurrias - July 27 
  South Texas, northeast Mexico must have received significant rains prior to Dolly which made landfall on July 23 in South Padre Island, Texas.
