I saw couple of advertisements done by ICTA about developing Sinhala / Tamil Fonts. It was publish on English news papers. I think ICTA ( That I hear ) got small number of replies. Please publish the advertisements on Sinhala / Tamil news papers too.

Most of IT courses conduct by Institutions does not teach How to create Fonts. There are lot of graphic designers in Sri Lanka. but they do not know How to create fonts. Lack of internet facilities cut off people from getting proper knowledge and LATEST SOFTWARE. I think if there as a proper plan it is good.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are 5 Unicode Fonts that I found and I got. There are more than 100 none Unicode Sinhala Fonts available. If some one want to implement Unicode System around the WORLD, He / She / We must fix the problems That comes with software. Eg : Apple, Adobe, Corel, Programing Languages ( Delphi®, etc ). This is a big task. but I think it will overcome. We must inform companies who develop softwares when we face a problem about Sinhala / Tamil Unicode.
