Dustin, forgot to thank you for your hospitality too. Was in a rush to go home that night.. having headache cos keep seeing trash hands dealt to me every round.

 

Anyway, may I suggest that everyone buy some drinks next time to Dustin's/whoever's house when we go play? Or else paiseh... we literally 'raped' his packet drinks dry.

there'll be more games in the near future.

here's a quick summary of players and play:

SEAT 1: Benjamin: possibly the wildest player of the night. His raises
had everybody guessing. and he was never afraid to fire shot after
shot, all the way to the river. loose aggressive...he didn't need a
hand to take down pot after pot. ai zai....

SEAT 2: Me.

SEAT 3: Keng Keong: Another wily player...was trapped by his queens in
one hand...dammit....overall, observant and raises under the gun with a
whole range of hands. surprised me when he counted out his outs so
quickly...

SEAT 4: Daniel: Tight is right. had the best of it everytime he pushed.
but was the victim of a few bad beats. miracle river cards negated his
edge. we all know what that feels like...

SEAT 5: Erique: the big winner of the night. opened with hands like 2-4
offsuit and pocket jacks...has a built in danger sense...wouldn't call
my pocket kings...twice...

SEAT 6: Desmond: Bitches....and more bitches....anytime he held 2
queens...the pot was his...the ladies man managed to elicit calls when
he had the best of it...

SEAT 7: Seah Kai: This one was like a shark in shallow waters...never
gave up any information for free and showed good card sense. also
scared me when he started up with the mathematics....damn these smart
types...

SEAT 8: Uzyn : i respected every raise he made...managed to build a
strong image that nite...was glad he sat a few places to my
right...allowed me to throw those speculative 4-5 offsuit hands away
before getting myself involved.

SEAT 9: Derek: Experience. that was what marked this player. a deadly
combination of good card sense and knowing when to push his hands,
trapped those who were unlucky enough to hold second best hand when he
had the nuts...also the only one to experience the joy of looking down
at aces in the hole...twice...

And of course ,Yi Zhen. who graciously dealt out our hands for the
night...erique didn't tip him (the cheapskate...) i'm sure it won't be
long before he joins in the action.

Yea..kudos goes to Dustin

There's an NTUC nearby..so we'll just pool in a few quid each and get the drinks there.

Since, Dustin didn't give a summary of himself here's one =)

Seat 2: Dustin the host. Projects the image of a "friendly" player, especially with his warnings of "you better have something good if you want to call my overbet" =). Tight player generally, but mixes it up at times. Another wielder of monster hands (twice Kings..at least)

Dustin, thanks so much for hosting the game the broke me live poker
game cherry. Looking fowrard for more games in the future.

Yeah, we should all chip in and buy some drinks and snacks for the next
game. Maybe we can do a potluck.
