Hey everyone!
Things have picked up and I have been rather busy! You may have
missed out on all the excitement that October had to offer, but there
is still stuff to catch for the rest of this year.
First of all - CLASSES: Dublin Park and The Studio has started its
last 6 week Intro to Basic Bellydance series. Dublin Park will run
from Oct 30 until Dec 11 - yes, there is 7 weeks to this series since
we will meet that Tuesday of Thanksgiving week. So, all the Dublin
Park people will get a bonus class! The Studio class series will run
from Nov 1 until Dec 13 - but there will NOT be a class on Nov 22 for
Thanksgiving. [Studio people - you can drop in at the Dublin Park
class if you would like to take the bonus class.] You still have time
to jump in if you want. This Intro class costs $45 for the series or
$10 drop in per class. The next Intro classes will start the second
week in January.
MOMMY AND ME classes: The next ones will occur November 7 and December
5. I hope that we can put together something to show at Toys for Tots
and for the Christmas Student Recital. I'll pass along the dates for
the new year soon!
BELLYKIDS classes: The last class will be November 15. There will
not be another session until next year. Stay tuned for more details
on registering, costs, etc.
Upcoming Performance: TOYS FOR TOTS HAFLA! November 17 at The
American Legion off of Drake Ave. There will be a silent auction
again as well as the show. $10 for tickets in advance. $15 at the
door - with a $5 discount with new toy donation. Doors open at 6 pm
with the show to begin at 8 pm. Dinner and drinks are available but
are not included in the ticket price. Get with me to purchase your
tickets in advance. If you can't make the show but would like to
donate to this worthy cause, feel free to pass along your donation to
me at Dublin Park or at The Studio.
STUDIO CHRISTMAS STUDENT RECITAL HAFLA! December 7 at The Studio. $5
cover charge per person. Please let us know you are coming so we can
cater appropriately. Check back for more details...but at least mark
your calendars and plan on attending!
Upcoming Workshop: A-TEAM comes to ALABAMA! November 8-9. Alima and
Aegela - world renowned bellydance instructors - are coming together
to Alabama! Alima will be teaching her Introduction to Saidi
technique - focusing on zils on Saturday and canes on Sunday. Aegela
will be teaching her famous "Aegela-isms" on Saturday and "The Arabic
Family and Its Relatives" on Sunday. Special weekend price $90 for
the entire workshop - due on November 8. Check website for Paypal

REMINDER: Prices will go up in the new year. $12 drop in per class/
$40 month/ $50 for 6 week Intro.
