Subject: March 2008!
Hey everyone!

I hope that everyone is doing great and not catching the muckiness
that is going around!  Classes are still going on at Dublin Park and
at The Studio!  The BellyKids class is ending soon, but a new 10 week
session will start April 3!  The BellyKids will be performing at the
St. Jude Benefit show on Saturday, April 5. More about the show
follows.

Classes:  I will not be teaching classes during Spring Break.  Contact
the other teachers to see if they are teaching or not.  I know that
the bellydance classes at Dublin Park will not meet on March 18.  The
next beginning session at Dublin Park will begin on April 1.  No
fooling!  I am still teaching the lunch time classes at The Studio -
the next session will start April 10.  BellyKids next session will
begin on April 3.  And the night time session (7:35 - 8:35 pm) is
currently a Beyond Basics class, but beginners are still welcome.  The
next 6 weeks Intro session will start on April 10.

Upcoming Workshop!
The Studio hosts Bellydance Workshop April 5-6, 2008
Come experience the passion, humor, and precision technique of Isidora
Bushkovski - www.izzydancer.com. Isidora Bushkovski has been a
professional dancer since 1993 and currently lives in Pueblo, CO. Her
degrees through the University of Minnesota are in History and Dance,
and she has studied various ethnic dance forms with teachers across
the country, ranging from folk and stage dances of the Middle East and
North Africa to Flamenco and Mexican Folklorico. Rather than devote
herself to one specific tradition, she prefers to blend these diverse
forms into her unique style called Tejedora which means "weaver" in
Spanish.
After being hit by a drunk driver in 2000, she slowly began teaching
again, sharing with her students the many things she learned in
recovery, such as body alignment, natural movement and soul searching.
The dance drills that she created during physical therapy have become
the foundation of her teaching technique, lovingly named by her
students Isidora's Belly Dance Boot Camp, currently in production for
video. Over the past years, she has once again begun to perform
regularly, dedicating her life to The Dance and to sharing it with
others. It is her profession, her principle, and her pastime, but most
of all, it is her passion.

If you are looking for an intimate intensive by an incredible
performer who will shares her knowledge with you as she enjoys kicking
your butt, come out to The Studio at 1219 C Jordan Lane for this
workshop. 2 days for $80( Early Bird pricing). Also there is a Benefit
Performance for St.Judes Children's Hospital Saturday night. Come
participate in the fun and craziness that we are known for.
