Sounds good, for starters, any idea where to stay and who to dive with
in Cazamel?

Cozumel. Staying cheap is easy. Barracuda...Cheap and almost almost
acceptable. there are several hotels right ont he beach that have
piers...beware of the hotels where you can only dive with the "HOTEL
DIVE SHOP"

We rent Villas or local homes where we dive...get to know the poeple
some too.Buy an extra steak for the nighbor. and share some beers...or
what ever.

Diving with Martin is by far the Best on the island!!! Computer diving,
NOT first one ot of air, all go to surface...take the six packs from
the nearest pier...fast out and back. Great DMs will find any critters
you cannot find.

Be advised that if you go to the nicer hotels south of San Miguel, a
cab ride is about 20 bucks...you have to go to town!!! just avoid it
while the cruise ships are at the Int'l Pier.
ENJOY!!!

Thanks, Jim.
What are good dive sites you can recommend? I know "The mall" and "The
cathedral".
Anything else?

No, second. But I was getting sertified on first one, so don't
remember too much and sites where shallow for beginners.
I've checked Martin's web site and noticed different prices / trips
for ow and advenced scuba divers. Do you know the difference.
Thanks for info.

Mike,
I've stayed at the Scuba Club twice and love it. Friendly staff,
unlimited shore diving, and great food. Great DM's too.
I strongly reccommend it.

I'm Jim. Live in Texas (Murphy). NAUI Advanced Open Water. Dive
Fresh/Salt, Caribbean/Atlantic and Pacific . This year we have done
Puerto Rico (twice), Roatan, and Coz. Would like to get in another trip
for Christmas holiday...but family wants to be home this year. Wife and
Daughter (14) are advanced as well. We love to dive challenging
profiles. Did Maui summer before last. Had a great time on Lanai. Very
strong Currents and awesome surge. Loved it! Daughter surfaced after 58
minute dive at 72' max with 1800 psi. She is incredible.

We are planning a really big trip to Culebra (isla este de Puerto Rico)
Will rent a small boat (18 feet) and rent tanks. Dive as we like!!!
Anyone going diving for up coming Season holiday?

Hi Jim, I wish I could, but I can't.
I'm going to NC next summer and probably Cozumel next fall, before
that I will do couple local dives in Dutch Spring just to keep myself
in shape and probably some Jersey dives.
