I've been getting lots of the porn spam and tried to unsubscribe, but I got
"message undeliverable" several times, so even if you want to unsubscribe,
you can't, it seems.

Yahoo is so much better. Never had this problem on Yahoo groups.

Hardly any coming to me either, at least not from this list. That's
using the gmail web client. I think it does something Bayesian in the
background that works pretty well.

I use Gmail, which has a very good filter. I tried other filters, but
too much spam got through. Gmail is better at it. If 50 (or whatever
the threshold) people mark an email as spam, then that email is either
not delivered or auto-deleted.

Gmail isn't perfect; there's other problems with it, but spam isn't one of them.

I'm happy to say I've never received any teen pussy/porn spam related
to this group. So I don't know what you're talking about. I'm on a
Macintosh using the Apple Mail application, which I think of as
fairly passive. But maybe Mail protects me? I have no clue how that
would be possible. Seems unlikely. Apple applications usually don't
